FAIR LEARNING COMMONS

The Heritage Christian University (HCU) library serves as a welcoming and dynamic space dedicated to fostering the Heritage community’s learning, research, and intellectual activities. It provides a wide range of resources and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff. Its extensive and varied collections reflect the broad spectrum of academic disciplines offered at Heritage.
The Heritage Library encompasses both physical and digital infrastructure. The library building, centrally located for easy access to academic facilities, features three above-ground floors and a basement, currently accommodating up to 300 individuals with the potential for more seating. Within the library, reprographic services – including printing, scanning, photocopying, and binding – are available for students and staff. The library’s growing collection boasts over 14,500 books, periodicals, and special collections that support research and learning across humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and professional fields. An online catalogue simplifies access to these resources, and our knowledgeable staff are always ready to assist with research inquiries and requests.
Additionally, the library features an advanced electronic library accessible both on and off campus, with a vast collection of over 300,000 electronic books on all subjects available through ProQuest E-book Central, offering unlimited access to all users. Members can also utilise various academic databases provided by the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Ghana (CARLIGH).
