Greetings and welcome to the Department of Computing and Engineering (C&E).
As Head of Department, I am excited to introduce our Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSc IT) and Bachelor of Science in Information Security (BSc IS) programmes at Heritage Christian University. Our programmes are designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to excel in the dynamic fields of IT and Cybersecurity.
The BSc in Information Technology focuses on the design, development, and management of modern computing systems, preparing students for careers in Software Development, Networking, Cloud Computing, AI, Data Analytics and IT Infrastructure Management.
The BSc in Information Security emphasizes the principles of Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Ethical Hacking, AI and Digital Forensics, ensuring that graduates are ready to protect and secure digital and critical information assets in a world increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats.
